On Sunday 29th August thousands of excited athletes descended on Larne town for the half marathon. Weather conditions were perfect for all runners. The elite races started at the earlier time of 8:00am with Ethiopian Yalemzerf Yehualaw smashing the ladies world record, breaking the 64 minute barrier. The mass race started at the later time of 9:30am with legends John Agnew, Tosh Craig & Jo Pavey taking up pacer roles. Our club was well represented in the field with many personal bests achieved on the day. First home for the club was Jordan Heron in 1:16:24, the rest as follows:-
