On Saturday the 19th March one Larne AC member Sinead-Marie McAllister travelled to undertake the gruelling ‘Fallows’ race second of the Nimra Championships.
Feeling a little out of her comfort zone as it was only a part marked course and all competitors were the big guns of mountain running. A very challenging course as it felt like constant climbing with knee deep bogs with little running to get the legs turning over. Sinead finished in a time of 2:06 and placed 78th out of 87 overall and placing 6th out of 9th in the category F 16km 800m. Overall pleased to of stepped out of her comfort zone.
Well Done Sinead
