On Saturday 29th January two Larne AC members Tommy Linton and Sinead-marie McAllister today raced the 5th out of six in the Born2Run Forest Series at Antrim Castle.

A blustery day but a particularly flat course left little choice for the legs to do but pick up the pace, more of a speed 10k out and back course than a hilly trail route like previously. Tommy was home first in a time of 47.47 and 10th in age category overall finishing 151st out of 543. Sinead then followed in a time of 49.03 and finishing 199 out of 543.Both runners are looking forward to the final race in February and taking on the hills in Castlewellan.
