A snowy Castlewellan forest greeted several hundred runners for the final leg of the Born2Run trail series which began last September.

In the 5km race Davy Noble along with his son Luke joined another 200 runners on a very slushy, hilly and wet course. Young Luke got the better of Davy to finish in 30.40mins in 95th place and 15th MJ with a proud dad finishing a few seconds behind in 30.44

.Sinead Marie McAllister and Tommy Linton joined another 420 runners in the 10km race. Sinead was one of a select group who completed all 6 races earning her a special medal. She also blasted round a tough course to finish in 51.36mins in 146th place and 12th in the FO. Tommy was unable to stay with Sinead who pulled away on the downhills and finished in 52.14mins to finish in 163rd place and 4th in M60.
