On Wednesday 8th April three members of Larne AC travelled to Belfast to compete in the Queens Sports 5K.
On a windy evening a field of 684 runners took part in this very popular race which has just returned to the racing calendar after the last two years cancelations.
John Steele continued his impressive form at this distance finishing 274th in an excellent time of 19:27 an 18 second PB from his last time set three years ago. Emmet Woods followed closely behind in a great time of 20:39 finishing 375th in the 684 field.
Then Kerri Anne Craig, our only lady competitor didn`t let the wind hinder her race completing the 5K in a brilliant time of 25:07 in 562th position carrying on her excellent form.
