On Thursday the 2nd June two Larne AC members headed up to Newcastle for the 7th race of the hill and dale series an 8km 500m elevation race ‘Millstone’.

An all up and down race the legs didn’t get any chance to relax during this one. With quite an unnerving steep climb to the top of millstone. Out of 185 runners Bryan Magee finished 116th in a time of 57:04 13th in MV50 and not too far behind Sinead-Marie McAllister finished 126th in a time of 58:17 6th in Fo.A good start to the long weekend

Next week sees the Hill and Dales Loughshannagh and the Nimra Cairncastle for anyone else wanting to sign up to some hills.
