Mathieson Cup

On Sunday the 15th of January 2023, two Larne AC members travelled to Mallusk to compete in The Mathieson Cup X Country Race.

The first race was the ladies and male vets over 45. The course was undulating and well churned up from the first race . In the second race, The Senior Male Open, four laps, 5 miles, Jordan Heron put in a fantastic run finishing in a time off 29.40 in 23rd position. Sean Mcallister also ran in the Open race rather than the Vets finishing 134th in a time off 35.49 placing him 2nd in his category.

A great turn out of X Country runners with over 400 runners in the races.
