On Saturday the 6th of November 21 Four members of Larne AC travelled to Ballyclare for the McConnell Shield X country race. First up was Juliane Keane competing in the ladies open, on a 3 lap 3 mile undulating very wet course, Juliane had great run in 27.14, 75th position. The men’s open race was a 5 lap 5 mile course, first home in his first X country race in 60th position in a time of 34.15 was Alan Lockington next after falling on his A..! was Sean McAllister 69th in a time of 35.36, followed by Emmett Woods who had a great run in 91st position in a time of 38.39.
