NI Masters Athletics Association XC Trials

Juliane and Martan Keane ran in the Northern Ireland Masters Cross Country trials on Saturday 8th October at Queens Playing Fields in Belfast.

Juliane came 6th in the F50 category, completing the 6k course in 26.28, earning provisional reserve for the Northern Ireland team in Dublin on 12th November.

Martan also came 6th in M40 category 8K race in 30:38, which would have earned him the reserve member if he had been registered.

It was a really tough race, but a great learning experience. Hopefully more of us can get the spikes on and take part in the upcoming cross-country season. The next local race, The McConnell Shield, will take place on 5th November in Ballyclare.
