Larne Parkrun

Twelve members of Larne AC participated in the local parkrun on a sunny still morning ideal for running.

With 3 No. weeks to go to until the Edinburgh Marathon Martan Keane continued his fine vain of form finishing first home for the Club and 3rd overall in a great time of 20:02 just missing out on that sub 20. Second for the Club and getting back to full fitness with a superb time of 20:47 4th overall was James McIlroy. Sinead-Marie McAllister was the first lady home for the Club in a great time of 25:32 made all the more impressive as this was only one day after the Slieve Binnian leg of the Hill and Dales Series. Following on from last weeks exploits in the Belfast City Marathon in which Andrew Davidson was first male home for the Club, Andrew was back in action again completing the challenging Larne Parkrun course in a great sub 30 time of 29:33.
