On Saturday 22nd January 11 members of Larne AC took part in the local 5k Parkruns.
Larne Parkrun
On a beautiful bright sunny winters morning perfect running conditions, 7 members ran the local Larne Parkrun. Jordan Heron continued his dominance of the course finishing 1st in 17:53 streets ahead of the second finisher. Nigel Kane and Emmett Woods put in great runs on their return to full fitness finishing 9th and 14th in times of 21:39 for Nigel and 22:46 for Emmett. On his road back to fitness after his knee operation James McIlroy was next home for the Club in 22nd place in a good steady time of 25:14. Juliane Keane followed closely behind in 25th place pushing for a sub 26 min she finished strongly to get it in there in 25:59. Kerri-Anne Craig had another good steady run finishing 29th in 26:56 with Michelle Woods completing the LAC contingency finishing 40th in a field of 51 runners in a time of 30:19.

Stormont Parkrun
David Noble and his young son Luke travelled to Belfast take part in this parkrun. In a large field of 219 runners Luke finished 152nd in 29:29 with David Noble finished 153rd in 29:30, another great run by young Luke with another sub 30 in consecutive weeks.
Victoria Parkrun
One member travelled to Belfast to participate in the Victoria Parkrun and he did that and more as Alan Lockington blew it out of the park. Alan back to top form finished this large field in 26th position in an amazing time of 18:42 a new PB for him, Well Done.
Ormskirk Parkrun
One member of LAC ran this parkrun in Edgehill. Daniel Magil finished in a time of 24:00 in 58th position out of a field of 260, great result Daniel keep up the good work.
Ecos Parkrun
One member of LAC travelled to Ballymena to run the Ecos Parkrun. Pearl Henry with her sights set on a sub 30 had an amazing run to finish totally elated in 29:46 and so she should be, well done.
Bangor Parkrun
We had no runners in this one but Pat Gingles represented our Club by Volunteering as Tail Walker, well done Pat.
