Larne Parkrun

With the sun shining on a beautiful calm spring morning the setting was made to produce fast times and so it did with the Larne Parkrun record being smashed by 4 seconds with a new record of 16:25 being achieved.

Two LAC members participated in this event with Jordan Heron spurred on with the chance to compete against Mark McKinstry having a amazing run staying with him until the second lap when Mark pulled away to set the new Larne Parkrun course record. Nevertheless the competition helped Jordan to finish 2nd with an impressive Personal Best time of 17:22 which is amazing on this challenging course. Alan Lockington was our second member tagging the Parkrun onto the end of his weekend long run put in a creditable run to finish 8th in 21:29.

St. Peters Parkrun – Sydney Australia

Pearl Henry down under to celebrate her Granddaughters Lucy`s 2nd Birthday participated in St. Peters Parkrun having an impressive sub 30 run to finish in 29:15.
