Parkrun Round-Up 9/07/2022

Larne Parkrun

On a cloudy warm clammy Saturday morning with Seapark Running Club taking over the volunteer roles we had a great turn out at the local parkrun which saw 12 members from Larne AC record some excellent times in a field of 58.

First home for the Club and first place overall Jordan Heron continued his dominance of this event with an excellent run in a time of 17:46. Martan Keane continued his tremendous run of form with another sub 20 run finishing 4th in a time of 19:44. First lady home for the Club and keeping the Keane Machine`s top form going was Juliane Keane finishing 7th overall in a fabulous PB time of 21:34 (a time that would have won some other weeks). Lee Clements was next home continuing his journey back to full fitness after injury finished 10th in a respectable time of 22:17.

The battle of the buggies saw Thomas (Tosh) Craig pushing the double buggy pip Alan to finished 11th in a time of 22:23 with Alan Lockington finishing 12th in 23:37 pushing Holly.

Ruth McIlroy was our 2nd lady home with an excellent run finishing 23rd in a great time of 26:26 not a PB but her best time in this event since 2017. Paul Magil was next home after his great run last week in the Larne AC 10K Paul had another great run finishing 26th in 26:59 followed by Ian Brennan having a steady performance finishing 30th in 27:50. Kerri-Anne Craig completed Team Craig with a good sub 30 time of 28:14 finishing 31st overall spurred on by Daughter Anna at the finish.

Dianne Hawthorne was next home just missing out on that sub 30 Diane finished 42nd in a time of 31:29 and completing our line up was Pearl Henry with a good steady run finishing 44th in 32:04.
