School Hill Handicap 2024

Congratulations to Juliane on her success in Tuesday’s School Hill handicap, her time of 29:05 was the fastest for a woman on the night, and to Emmett and Heather who finished in second and third place respectively in 29:20 and 42:27.  Congratulations also to Phelim, his time of 24:51 was the fastest overall, and to Marie, Diane and Ashlynn who each set their fastest time over the course.  Full details of all the results are set out in the accompanying table.  It’s worth noting that Juliane’s, Phelim’s, John’s and Mark’s excellent performances came on the back of each of them competing in the London or Belfast marathon, proof that marathon training can have a knock-on beneficial effect on performances in shorter distance races.
